Anne Kessler is known for her rich impressionist interpretations of Sonoma and Mendocino landscapes in pastels. "To learn how to paint is to learn how to see" she says. Anne graciously shares her vision with many local and national collectors who proudly display her paintings.

Anne attended Radcliffe College and U.C. Berkeley, and spent 12 years as a professional musician. She currently lives in Point Arena and has shown her work in galleries in San Francisco, Scottsdale, New York City, Paris and Zurich. In 1993 one of her paintings was presented to the Crown Prince of Japan as a wedding present and now hangs in the private collection of the Japanese Royal household.

Anne studies colorist and pastel techniques with Kitty Wallis of Portland, Oregon.
